Two-Year Anniversary Ends In Confusion

A major injury, a title changes hands...and the invasion begins...

There seems to be a lot of confusion lately concerning various aspects of XWO Wrestling in Huntsville. If you were at the show on July 17, then you might be aware of some of the mass confusion. If not, then here is a breakdown of how the event concluded and the mystery of what is to come.

It was announced before that due other obligations that would keep Kelly Kevin from appearing at the show, the No-Limits Championship was being vacated. XWO management also announced that there would be an official announcement made here on the XWO website next week stating that there would be a Best-of-5 series to crown a new XWO No-Limits Champion. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled right here for more information.

ACW made their presence known as they showed up and left "The Legend" Mr. B in a broken heap in the middle of the ring. An attack on the co-holder of the XWO Tag Team Championship left him unconscious and therefore unable to leave the ring on his own power. XWO officials and medical staff removed him from the ring and EMT's took him to a local medical facility where he received treatment for various injuries. Calls and emails have been sent to XWO's office concerning his current status but have yet to be returned. Updates should be available on the XWO website when they are available.

In a bittersweet moment during all the mass hysteria in the ring, Slim Sexy walked away with the XWO Heavyweight Championship. He dethroned "Sexy" Steve DeMarco for the title after the ACW attack was cleared out. DeMarco hit the Sexy Kick into a steel chair, sending sending the chair back into Slim's face. But when Slim stumbled out of the corner, he (and the chair) collapsed on top of DeMarco and the referee counted to three. This gave Slim Sexy his first XWO Championship.

But perhaps the biggest mystery lately is where does the loyalty of Team S.E.X. currently stand? After the ACW invasion, Both High Roller Hayze AND Roc Hardway were both seen shaking hands with the ACW faithful and seemed to be in firm alliance with them after the end of the show in Huntsville.

So the questions now remain: Who will compete in the Best-of-Five series to declare the new XWO No-Limits Champion, and when will we all find out where Team SEX align themselves? You'll have to keep it locked right here on the XWO website to find out!!!
