Evan Gelistico is YOUR XWO Heavyweight Champion

He is the current XWO Heavyweight Champion. He fights out of St Louis, weighs 200lbs and stands 6'5” tall. “Pistol Danger” is his nickname and Evan Gelistico lives up to that vicious moniker.
In December 2010 at Mohawk venue in Austin TX Johnny Axxle defeated Slim Sexy for the XWO Heavyweight Championship. After that intensely physical match Johnny immediately issued a challenge to anyone in the locker room that night and said he would defend the XWO Title under 24/7 rules. Evan Gelistico answered the challenge and won the belt in record time (This was the fastest title victory in XWO history, be it Tag Team, XWO No Limits or XWO Heavyweight Titles) by submission then declared that the belt was no longer under 24/7 rules and would be defended when Evan Gelistico saw fit.
A tenacious competitor with a fighting spirit Evan Gelistico has trained in not only striking and the “strong style” but also in submission style Professional Wrestling. His ability to not only knock out an opponent with a kick is matched with his enduring ability to also make an opponent “tap out” or submit to one of his many and varying submission moves. In fact he won the belt from Johnny Axxle with a STANDING Gateway City Stretch (or GCS Mark IV), a move that not many Wrestlers are able to do due to it's difficulty in executing correctly.
Backed up by his stablemates in The Submission Squad finds Evan supported at shows by Gary Jay and Pierre Abernathy. Multiple times he has won Tag Team championships with both these competitors but do not be fooled into thinking Evan is “just a Tag Team Wrestler”. No, that would be a grave injustice to his solo accomplishments. He is also the current St. Louis Anarchy Heavyweight Champion as well after defeating former LWA (Lethal Wrestling Alliance changed names from LWA to St Louis Anarchy earlier this year) “Spitfire” Davey Vega for that belt in the summer of 2010 and still holds it to this day.
In his home State he has fought the biggest, best and most lauded by the fans to much success and has continued that success in his trips to Texas. Many opponents have had the matches of their careers against this solid and complete Wrestler.
Very soon Evan Gelistico will walk out in front of the fans in Port Neches TX with the XWO Championship over his shoulder or around his waist to face off with both Slim Sexy and “The Fire” Jeremy Young and do not believe for a second that Evan Gelistico has not overcome obstacles before. He routinely overcomes sleep deprivation when he will Wrestle in St. Louis the night before Wrestling in a city in Texas.
All Evan Gelistico requires is a ring, an opponent and the date of the show, Evan will take care of the rest. He is very much a “Tell me where and when” type of Professional Wrestler and at “Nothing Personal” in Port Neches Evan Gelistico, the reigning XWO Heavyweight Champion will show Jeremy Young and Slim Sexy what “Pistol Danger” is all about.
